Description

This is an optional feature of the Q140MD electric bike if you have chosen pedals. PAS or pedal assist system enables the ride to regulate the throttle with the frequency of pedal. Qulbix PAS system has a magnet wheel with 12 magnets, which is positioned on the secondary gear set (not on crank). That means that by one turn of the crank the magnet wheel spins 2,5 times. That increases the sensibility of the PAS by a factor of 2,5. Like having 30 magnets on the crank wheel. That is movement detection of the crank every 12° of crank revolution – great sensitivity!
