AMD member Šentvid pri Stični convincingly beat all the competition in Imola.
As part of the Motocross World Championship race for the Italian Grand Prix, the FIM, the international motorcycling federation, today also organized the first race for the World Cup for competitors on electric bikes. The AMZS representative in this industry was Anže Svetek, who masterfully handled the competition and won convincingly.
AMD member Šentvid pri Stični competed in the stronger EXBGP class, in which riders of electric bikes that can reach speeds of up to 45 km/h competed (in the weaker EXB2 class, bikes do not exceed 25 km/h). Svetek overtook his rivals with a large advantage in 25 minutes and an additional lap, the duration of the race, and thus, on the legendary Enzo and Dino Ferrari racetrack, the day before the MXGP race, where the best Slovenian motocross rider Tim Gajser can already become this year's world champion in motocross in the elite class, the toast came. The newly-minted winner said when the best were announced that he found it hard to believe that he had achieved such a feat:

The victory is completely unexpected for me. I would like to thank Qulbix, who prepared a great bike for me. I only had one week to prepare for the race. The bike was assembled in three days, I did three training sessions. We actually didn't know what we were getting into. I still have to figure it all out.
