Shipping and Import Duties
Important Info
Shipping costs are calculated after you select your bike configuration. To receive a final quote, please:
- Go to Checkout
- Enter your personal information or log in (name, address)
- Ignore the “No shipping available” notice
- Select Direct Bank Transfer
- Click Place an Order
👉 Don’t worry — this process only generates a quote. You are not obliged to pay until shipping details are confirmed.

Shipping Restrictions
E-bikes contain Li-ion batteries and cannot be shipped to every country or state. For this reason, we must check availability and cost on a case-by-case basis. If you’re unsure, please contact us at info@qulbix.com before ordering.
Shipping Outside the European Union
- Prices for non-EU customers do not include VAT (Value Added Tax), import costs, or local taxes.
- For details about import charges in your country, please contact your local customs office or ask us directly.
other shipping options (EXW & FCA) – delivery terms
EXW – Ex Works (Seller’s Premises, preserje, Slovenia)
- Goods are made available at our warehouse/factory at the agreed date.
- Buyer is responsible for loading, transport, insurance, and all export/import customs formalities.
- Risk passes to the buyer once the goods are made available at our premises.
- Seller provides basic assistance with documentation, but does not arrange transport or customs clearance.
FCA – Free Carrier (Seller’s Premises, preserje, Slovenia)
- Seller loads the goods onto the carrier’s vehicle at our premises and provides all necessary export customs clearance.
- Risk passes to the buyer once the goods are handed over to the carrier.
- Buyer arranges and pays for the main transport, insurance, and import formalities.
- Seller assists with documentation required for export.
General Provisions
- Buyer must ensure timely collection/transport booking.
- Delivery dates are approximate and depend on carrier arrangements.
- Any additional services (packing, special loading, export licenses beyond standard) may incur extra charges.
- Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Incoterms® 2020 apply.
Production Time
Standard production time for complete bikes is 4–6 weeks.

Payment & Refunds
- We advice you to use Bank transfer (this payment offers lowest fees) for bike payment.
- Please note that PayPal fees are non-refundable.

Product Use
Depending on the model, Qulbix e-bikes are designed for recreational and off-road use only, unless specifically homologated for road use. Please read our Warranty, Return Policy, and Legal Notice before purchasing.
Additional Info – U.S. Import Duties
- As of September 25, 2025, the U.S. import duty for e-bikes made in Slovenia by Qulbix (HS Code 8711.60.00.90) is 15%.
- Import duty rates change frequently — please take production time into account when ordering.
- All Qulbix bikes are delivered under DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) Incoterms. This means you pay the import duties to us, and we handle delivery to your door with no additional customs charges upon arrival.
