Description
If you already have a classic hub motor from QS – a 205 V3 model, any winding specification (T – number of turns) you can mount it to the Q140MD Frame with this mounting kit.
You will have to do the following modification to the motor:
- Drill d4.2 mm holes (10 mm deep) to the motor axle ends and cut a M5 thread to mount the axle end covers.
- Cut the motor cable to the desired length (we suggest to cut at 20 cm). Measure twice, cut once – put the motor on to the frame and route the cable! Do not forget to put on the D35 rubber seal on to the cable before you solder-on the connectors.
- Prepare the motor cable (solder XT150 connectors on phase wires).
- Prepare Hall connectors – depends on the controller.
Motor Add-ons are available separately, for ex.:
- Single speed freewheel
- Cooling Ferro-fluid
- Motor chain
- Motor chainwheel 22T, 26T
- Rear chainwheel 26T, 30T, 34T, 38T
