The 144i bicycle frame, motor and controller kit is a new product based on a 144 frame kit model.
The “i” in the name stands for “integrated”, as all main components are integrated in the completely closed frame shell, made of strong Cr-Mo steel and 7075 aluminium. The frame protects electronic components from water, mud and dust and potential crashes. The 144i complete kit is also 2kg lighter compared to the 144 kit.
The frame kit is designed for best performance to weight ratio. The out-runner BLDC motor does not need a primary speed reduction, is completely silent and has dual function – is a stressed member of the frame and a propulsion unit. The swing arm pivot point coincides with the motor’s axle, so the chain does not need additional guides.
This variation of the 144i kit comes with a bicycle seat and pedal system.
