14 REASONS Why You Should Choose the Qulbix Frame Kit

The devil is in the detail. Read what you should consider, before choosing a frame for your e-bike build.

Strong & Durable

Strong & Durable

Qulbix frames are made of super strong CrMo steel and high tensile aluminium.
Moto or Bicycle Seat

Moto or Bicycle Seat

The seat subframes of both models, 76 and 140, are modular, which means you can swap between the moto style seat (best for off-road high speed cornering) and the classic bicycle seat (adjustable in height, best for pedalling efficiency) anytime you wish.
Crash Resistance

Crash Resistance

Are you one of those rides who ride hard?
Even crash sometimes?

No worries – the Qulbix frame can take it. It may suffer some dents and scratches on the surface, but that won't stop you riding. You can't say the same for »plastic cover« tubular frame designs or carbon fibre frames.

Battery protection (against water)

Battery protection (against water)

Qulbix frames are fully enclosed and thus IP54 waterproof.
All cable inlets are sealed with silicon rubber grommets, well protected from water when riding on wet terrain. So no worries if you splash over some puddles, your electronics will stay dry. You can't say the same for »plastic cover« tubular frame designs.
Warranty

Correct Geometry

Correct Geometry

A great bike is much more than just two wheels with a frame in between. Geometry matters!

Our frames are carefully designed in such a way to insure that the bike will steer and handle with ease and precision. BB height is perfect for rugged terrain, so you don't need to worry that you'll bottom out on a rocky trail. Our bolt-on rear shock bracket with three holes allows lots of combinations for fine tuning the rear end suspension. We understand not all rides are the same. It doesn't matter if you're very tall or kind'a small - you'll be able to set up your bike to fit you perfectly.

Battery Fire Hazard

Battery Fire Hazard

Qulbix's fully enclosed steel and aluminium frame will contain or limit the potential battery fire outburst better than other frame designy (e.g.: epoxy resin / carbon fibber and plastics).

But be advised: Qulbix does not take any responsibility for the fire damage! We STRONGLY suggest you use safer cell types and always handle all kinds of batteries carefully, safely and in accordance with instructions!

Battery protection (against mechanical damage)

Battery protection (against mechanical damage)

The strong monocoque frame will protect the battery as much as possible, in case you crash.

You can't say the same for »plastic cover« tubular frame designs or carbon fibre frames.

Manuals

Manuals

Every Qulbix frame comes with a detailed user's manual.

Foot Pegs or Pedals

Foot Pegs or Pedals

Both models, 76 and 140, are designed to be fitted with either foot pegs or pedals. You can choose both footing options and swap among them.

Compatible with Different Controllers

Compatible with Different Controllers

You can choose among 3 different controllers shields Kelly, Sabovoton or Adaptto or choose the Universal mounting plate to attach your controller to the frame.

Compatible with Different Motors

Compatible with Different Motors

Qulbix frames are compatible with many hub-drive motors on the market (the Crown, QS motors, Crystalyte etc.) and some of the mid-drive motors (Lightning Rods Big-Block, Bafang etc.).

The standard swing arm drop-out width is 155mm, but you can opt for a custom 165mm width if that's what your project requires.

Modification Potential

Modification Potential

Need to tweak, add or modify something? An additional hole for the cable or to mount a new kind of controller?

Not an issue, drilling a small hole in your Qulbix frame will not compromise it's integrity. You can't say the same for carbon fibber frames.
